All the sunglasses are handcrafted in a 25 step process that takes over more than 2,5 months. Using the best, hand-selected cotton based acetates, lenses and hinges, GOBI can stand the test of time.
The main material that is used for these sunglasses is cellulose acetate; a hypo allergic polymer derived from wood pulp and natural cotton fibers. It’s non-petroleum based, which basically means it is harmless to the environment.
